No they have shot up from 2015 . Disney current,y have an offer on of 25% off but they only introduced it at Christmas and reckon it will end for when free dining is released .

Its called Brexit. 25% sterling devaluation means tickets have rocketed in price

Universals prices are nothing to do with Brexit and more to do with them paying for Volcano Bay. As per the famous field of dreams quote, "Build it (put prices up) and they will come."
In fact the UK prices we pay for should not be affected by the fall in sterling as they have no dollar value, they are for UK guests only. P.S Sterling is currently down 18% not 25% (1.5 to 1.25) In fact it is less than that as it was trading at 1.44 to 1.48 prior to Brexit. |

Nope, not doing anything wrong. Tickets are expensive, we paid £580 for 3 adult & 1 child universal 14 day ticket to go in 2016 (booked in 2015) and for the same tickets for 2018 they're £1080 for 4 adult tickets as my youngest will be 10. Disney tickets as per the Disney site have increased £100pp on both adult & child tickets. We booked our tickets with Disney as we wanted free dining on site, I found the invoice and an adult ticket was £299, child £279, they're now priced at £399 adult and £379 a child.
So looking forward to next year but something is going to have to give! Edited at 03:53 PM. |

Of course it has something to do with Brexit so that is 100% not accurate. It may not account for all of the price increase, but park tickets go up by about 10% per year anyway then through in the change in exchange rate and you're in the right ball park (to coin a phrase).
Universal can afford to put there's up a little more because they've historically been cheaper than Disney. With the newer attractions at Universal they can justify it as well.
