Throw a 4gang in the case... 4 uk plugs for 1 travel adapter.

Some lock cases, but unless you get a "TSA" lock they will tear it off to inspect the case. A TSA lock theoretically allows them to use master keys to open the case for inspection.

Phones and tablets are currently ok.

You cannot "charge" them on Virgin flights, however there is a USB that you can plug into whilst using the device. What they don't want is unattended devices. If a charging device sets on fire in your house it's a bad thing, if it does it on a plane it's potentially fatal to you and the 3-4 hundred other people on board.
If you're using a device whilst it's plugged in, the theory is that you can react if it starts to overheat, where unplugging, and turning off for a bit will usually solve the issue. They have special bags to contain a fire if it gets too bad and you've spotted it early.

I advise using the TSA locks as your insurance may be invalidated if you don't. I've been using them or suitcases with built in TSA locks for 10 years and have never had them damaged. We have had the note in a case saying it has been chosen for TSA screening 7 times now too so it's not that they're not opening them. They seem to like our luggage 😂

We don't use locks, we use zip ties, and have a small penknife in an outside pocket of one of the cases.

We also use small zip ties, and use a pair of baby nail clippers to remove them.

I dont use locks, I use the round bit of keyrings. I dont know the name of the actual thing, but you know the ring the key goes on. I just put them through the zips to keep it locked. Dont get me wrong, they can open it easily but it would take time, so it would stop people stealing i think

We always lock our cases but more so nobody could put anything in them, rather than worrying about people stealing out of them.

Hi,

I always lock my cases, not so much for security but more because i'd be mortified if it accidentally came undone somehow and all my stuff was rotating around the carousel!

Great idea to bring a plug bar, definitely something I will be doing.

As others have said, Virgin have USB ports that you can plug devices into but they more maintain battery as you use the device, rather than charging it.

You could also bring a power bank, you can get some good ones now that will fully charge an ipad or a couple of phones. This may also be useful in the parks if you get one that isn't too cumbersome.
