Prices when booking direct with Disney stay static throughout the Free Dining offer period. I haven't know them to drop in my experience.
I haven't looked at the different travel agents (Virgin etc.) though.

The discount was a god sent last year. I managed to get 14 day tickets through American Attractions for £273 per person (includes a £5 off pp code through MoneySavingExpert).
Had to book through Disney for next year though as we wanted to try the dining plan this time! Hope you guys get a deal and we can read the whole "if I contact X company, do you think they'll reduce the price I paid to the current 25% off price? " Always made me laugh lol Edited at 02:00 PM. |

Like others recall, the 25% ticket discount commenced shortly after the free Dining ended. It was 25% and wasn't dependent on staying at a Disney property. The tickets were for 2017 only and only on the 14-day ultimate. The promo was offered well into 2017.
Like many I'm holding out in the hope the discount will be offered again. I think last year was the first time Disney offered it... |

I believe the 25% discount officially started on 15th December 2016 - exactly 50 years after Walt Disney passed away.
A few third party ticket sellers goofed up and started selling the tickets at the lower price a week or two before the official price reduced.

That's a fair shout.
Ticket prices are eye watering for 2017, never mind 2018!

Of course, Disney could do like they did last year and raise the ticket price by £50 quid a couple of months before the 25% discount. The 25% discount was more like a 15% discount in the end.
Still a discount though.

So, all of us holding out in August for December ticket discounts, Decembers now here and if there’s to be a big discount on the Brit-tickets they’ll be announced over the next 3 days to 3 weeks, depending upon wether Disney decides on a mid December launch, Christmas or “New Year” sale. Here’s hoping you all hung on and it happens...
