Just had a look, there's some decent indirect prices now on kayak for those dates from Heathrow and not bad from Birmingham too.

Wish Disney wasn't so expensive this year or I'd be able to convince dh we should book 🙁 .

I've also booked, a few days ago...BA flights. Outbound @ 7am Man-LHR-Mia-Tpa arriving about 6.30pm, inbound leaving around 5.30pm Tpa-Phill-Man, landing around 9am. Group W car. 2ad, 2children (17,11) 11/8-28/8 so 17 nights. £2296. I think it's a good price? I put it on here, but nobody was about to reply really, so I booked before prices went up, which by the evening they had. There's still a few options with similar prices, but arriving later and leaving earlier. Hope I did the right thing! 😳

Direct with them, which is even more of a bonus. I never trust these other sites.

Lots of cheapish BA flights showing on netflights with BA up until 29/08 return. Tomorrow I suspect the 30th August price will drop as AA flights will be loaded.

I've been tracking for a few weeks and this seems to be a pattern. For example 17th to 29th August showing £392 with BA on netflights. But returning on 30th the price goes up as there are no AA flights yet.

Other dates may be available. The 17th outbound does seem to be a sweet spot though for the sub £400 pricing.

For those following this thread who saw the post about my cancelled IB Avios return, I've now managed to secure another one, albeit we loose a day of our holiday hut it's a relief as I had already paid for our BA seats outbound.

Personally, I would say no. The main reason is we e done this route a few times and on at least 2 occasoins I have been delayed leaving Orlando due to the weather. As the storms are usually in an afternoon, there is a good chance of at least a small delay.

Wish we could have gone a little later in the month for the cheaper prices, but we have to be back for school 😭.

I'm glad you got the flights sorted, what a relief! Shame about losing a day, but at least you can relax now and look forward to your holiday! 😊
