ADR help - is it worth booking as early as 6 months?

Hi all

Tomorrow marks the first day in which we can start booking ADRs. We are staying offsite and will be travelling as a party of 12. I would imagine we will only be eating at Disney on a few occasions - do you think it is worth whilst to start prebooking ADRs as early as tomorrow (for when we want a sit down meal etc.) or just rely on the rock up and sit down method?

Also - we will be buying all of our tickets on Monday - do we need to have tickets before booking ADRs?

Thank you

Mark

You don’t need tickets to book ADRs.

As to whether it’s worth it, only you know. When we stayed offsite we ate at the quick service restaurants mainly and only had the odd ADR. Prior to ever having free dining we only ever ate QS. I would say, given that there are 12 of you, if there’s somewhere you really want to eat I would book. Similarly if you think you’ll want to eat TS meals most park days I would also book in advance as it won’t be easy getting walk ups for 12.
If you don’t care where you eat then no need to book anything.

if you want any of the most popular restaurants pre booking is a must esp for such a big group in peak season.

pretty sure you don't need tix before you can book adrs as lots of americans buy on the gate.

I would say a 100 percent yes, I would assume you will have to phone Disney Dining and phone each restaurant respectively to book as you will be a considered a group I don’t think you can book online as I had to phone up for some of ours as 7 was considered a group

As you are such a big group I would definitely be booking if there are places you definitely want to go. It is hard enough to get walk ups when you are a small group never mind in a group of 12
