dont think people should get hysterical over this, just because some people have problems, and for that I sympathise with them, but it does not mean we will all have problems, ive purchased overpriced Disney/orland flex tickets (vouchers)with Virgin, and will just wait and see when we get out there

We've purchased our Flexi Tickets with Virgin this year. In 2006 we purchased both Disney and Flexi Tickets from them and got vouchers, changed them up with no problems at all. Maybe it was the CM and not the vouchers as some people have said. Hope you had a good holiday besides.

Did you go to the regular ticket kiosk where you would buy tickets if you were paying cash? When we had vouchers we were told to go to Guest Services, and they exchanged them for tickets very easily. I prefer real tickets but for a decent savings will take vouchers and haven't had problems with them in the past

I'm really worried now I just purchased the Universal 2 park ticket from Virgin the other day - I don't want to be refused entry when I get there. I must admit last year we spent about 30 minutes at Guest Services in Universal waiting to exchange our flex ticket and it was really annoying - they took forever to serve peple as the queue itself only had about 5 people in front of us.

The Busch thing sounds like BAD staff training. After all Virgin Atlantic is the major airlinr bringing tourist into the area. I think a word / letter was warranted with their Guset Relations people. With Disney vouchers just go to DTD the night you arrive and take the vouchers and ID to Guest Relations. They'll change them with no problems.
As BevS97 said - you go to Guest Relations to exchange vouchers - not the ordinary ticket booths at the various parks. |

1. Virgin vouchers - go to GUEST RELATIONS not ordinary ticket booths.(With photo ID) Most folk go to the Downtown Disney one on their first night for Disney Tickets. AT DTD Marketplace they are by Arribas Brothers and on DTDWestside they are down from the fountain (which is in front of Planet Hollywood) opposite Wetzel's Pretzles.
At Universal, Guest Services ar located to the right of the big arch entrance. 2. Car hire - If you have booked in advance (presumably with Virgin) then you have paid all you need to. Just say No! and mean it if they start the hard sell. 3. Missed tolls. if you are travelling to WDW / I Drive along Beachline Expressway (used to be called Beeline) from Orlando Airport and back at end of holiday then you will pay two tolls each way - a total of £1.50 each way. (If you were arriving at Sandford airport which I doubt you are, then you would pay 5 tolls on way to Disney and 5 on way back. -Route 417.) In your case just make sure you have a few $1 bills in each direction.(We usually ask for about $20 worth when we get our cash currency - also useful for tipping porters) Unless you plan to roam all over Florida then tolls are not a problem. Read a good guide book before you go - Brit's Guide or Unofficial Guide to WDW. Forewarned is fore-armed. Edited at 08:23 PM. |

Yes that's right. Once you've got your ticket you just use that for the rest of your holiday. Just go through the gates- scan your ticket and your finger.
