After all the tips on here I booked RPR for one night and am so excited, we have booked for 4th July so it should be great fun. I just hope we will have enough time to enjoy the hotel, DH is also looking forward to having a meal in the evening and being able to have a drink as we can just walk back to the hotel.

You've definitely made the right decision, especially with the new Harry Potter area opening. Hope you have an amazing time (I know we will ).

Costing £260 (Queen Club Room) but the FOTLP come out at $699/£415 for 2 days/2 parks on our dates. So even with the extra $ for parking and a rollup bed its far cheaper.

Although our DD will get assistance from the park as she has ADHD and struggles to queue, think that the FOTLP will make it simpler for us.
The FOLP you priced up were probably the basic passes. You're getting the unlimited passes which are at least an extra $20 per person, per day, so you have saved loads!

But the night in the hotel will cost more than that surely.

Also, if you have smaller children it's not worth the money anyway as they can't ride most of the rides listed

If you are a family of 4 or 5 it is worth it as the unlimited express passes for 2 days cost way more than the price of a room, we are saving several hundred dollars.

We spent £180 on a room at HRH and we're getting £415 worth of passes. Plus 2 days early entry to HP.

The pass covers all rides except HP rides and Pterydon flyers. There are loads of rides and shows that children can go on. There is a misconception that Universal is a big ride park. I can only think of 4 big rides there, the rest are indoor rides, shows and simulators or Seuss, Simpsons and water rides.

I appreciate tots may not want to go in Jurassic Park or the Mummy, but there is still plenty there

For me it would would out more expensive but for a family of 4 it can work out far cheaper, plus you get use of the pool when you want a rest before going back.

It all depends on what you want to ride etc

Definately worth booking one night if you are a family , there were five of us when we booked 3 adults and 2 children in one room , yes it was cosy but it wasn't cramped and the room is only for sleeping in .such a bonus to get two full days ( including early entry into IOS ) and unlimited front of line passes for everyone , it is a no brainer , plus we enjoy the use of the pool and being able to wander around city walk in the evening We stay in a villa offsite but really look forward to our one night universal stay
