Disney to make more Fairy Tale Movies

It has been announced that Disney, wanting to capitalise on the current success of the new Jungle Book movie is to make more live-action fairy tale movies in the next few years.

Big budget live-action re-makes, prequels and sequels are currently scheduled for the following dates:

• 28 July 2017
• 6 April 2018
• 3 August 2018
• 25 December 2018
• 20 December 2019

Whilst it hasn't been announced what these films will be, according to Sky News it is now confirmed that Emily Blunt will star in a sequel to Mary Poppins. Another re-make is Cruella a 101 Dalmations prequel to star Emma Stone as Cruella. Dumbo re-make is also thought to be on the list of coming films.

Beauty and the Beast with Emma Watson playing Belle is scheduled for 17th March 2017.

You do realise that "Hakuna Mattata", which is in your sign off is from a Disney adaptation of a story they didn't come up with. It is based on Hamlet by Shakespeare. So that's surely tampering with a timeless classic?
