Expensive, I also didn't like that you had to 'join' the club to buy stuff and in-store customer experience was pretty meh, rail were always untidy and staff looked unhappy. Yes they price matched but it was a pain to do so. Maybe they should have invested in some mystery shopping and listened to the feedback.

Agreed. Expensive and had to 'join'.
Back in our camping and caravanning days we often visited but very often bought little except if we visiting where we were staying and had to buy something we needed urgently whilst on that holiday. Wouldn't be somewhere we'd buy something from ordinarily due to price for the same item.

I actually found them reasonable for the things I needed and always got way more back than my £5 fee! However I was just about to order some new riding gear from them when I saw this thread, investigated, and got my stuff from that big river place instead!

I never understood the paying a fee to shop there. It just put me off.

That's a shame, we bought a load of stuff from there when my DS did the Duke of Edinburgh, they were very helpful in there and made sure he had a properly fitted rucksack.

Oh thats a shame, loved messing around in their tent display! We bought all our camping gear from there. Hmm wonder if there will be a cheap tent awning to be had as we're still missing that!
