I’ve sat and thought about how to word this for a few minutes and tried to work out what to say.

I came up with ‘woo woo woo’

Unmistakeable noise.

We have them over our house all day long.

We hear birds, often hear the wind depending on direction and sometimes hear the waves breaking on the nearby cliffs at high tide. On a Sunday morning we hear our neighbour revving his Harley to annoy some religious people in the village, but he will be moving soon so that will stop😀

A far better way of explaining it than woo woo woo...

Most of the time wind in the trees, red kites and buzzards and during the daytime cars and bikes going too fast up the lane to the hill car park. If we are in the conservatory we hear the first drops of rain even before we see it! If we had realised about the cars etc we may have considered triple glazing not just double!

I can definitely say I have never heard red kites although I've seen a few soaring. At the moment the doors and windows are open and all I can hear are the magpies in the tree at the end of the garden.

We live close to local airport so all the noises that entails. Someone close by has racing pigeons so they fly over morning and night. The only noise they make is a swooshing as they go over head very fast. Apart from that and all the birds nesting at bottom of garden very quiet.
