What sounds do you commonly hear from your outside your home even with the windows closed

We hear aircraft from Gatwick, trains in the distance, cars going along and the ice cream man!

Planes - there is one going over now! We sometimes have to pause the tv in the summer when the windows are open as we can't hear while they are approaching!

Birds. We have blackbirds, coal tits, great tits and robins all nesting in the trees and bushes in our garden. I love them but they are so incredibly noisy on a morning.

Despite quadruple glazing emergency sirens still are able to find their way through but then ope like this morning also beeps from Cathedral across the road from me and last night foxes having a bit of nooky somewhere - used to get aircraft on final approach to LHR but theses days we see very few fly over central London and that was my favourite sight and sound

Occasionally a train, if it is a heavy goods one. Foxes every night at the moment . An occasional dog barking, ice cream van in the summer... but generally peaceful, quiet. Love suburban cul-de-sac living
