What do you think about this wallpaper?

We have a long wall spanning the lounge and into the kitchen /diner. The rest of the room is white so we wanted to add a bit of personality to the room. I was thinking just a stripey wallpaper but I've seen this. My husband loves it but I'm not sure... I'm scared about taking the leap!

I wonder if it might be too much but the room is quite plain otherwise.

What do you think? I'd welcome any other suggestions too.

I will be interested in this thread...we are hoping to do the same as the long wall we have painted is showing everybump and lump from when it was plastered over Artex.
And the paper is similar to yours ...its the Laura Ashley Joisette Steel.
Quite delicate really...but just wondering if it will be too much.

I love it. My daughter in law has just put a very similar wallpaper on a long plain wall in their new lounge and it looks great.

I thought it could be a bit too fussy for a full room when I just saw the first photo, however when I saw it with the sofa in the second photo I thought it looked really nice. Definitely would prefer it to a stripe.

It’s too busy for me - I like plain walls and patterns/designs on soft furnishings (never ever the 2 in the same room )

I learnt many many years ago not to get involved in picking wallpaper or fabrics etc.

My job is to do the task or get one of my Mates in.

I personally agree with Megaflyer though regarding plain walls.
Our entire house is papered in plain parchment coloured paper and although I had no say in selecting it I think it looks nice.
