Modern Art. Have We Gone Mad!

I must be honest and find 99% of 'modern art' decidedly weird.

My personal view is these artists/sculptors etc are laughing all the way to the bank when people admire or buy their so called masterpieces.

However this takes the biscuit (or carrot) in my view and proves my theory that the World has gone mad.

28 tons of carrots on display at the campus of a London art school as part of an exhibition highlighting the divide between town and country. Are these people on the gear!

I must admit to liking, indeed investing into, contemporary art (some phenomenal returns on capital outlay to be had on that !) but I find this piece both surreal, and in bad taste when people are starving . I hope a some goats break free from Vauxhall City Farm and eat it - leaving their deposits as that would be more appropriate for this (I refuse to use the word art in this case without adding a F in front of it)

I'm going to create a masterpiece later on.

It will be 5 of my screwdrivers artfully arranged on a kitchen worktop.

I will sell the images for £150 each.

They will be entitled 'Screwdrivers Resting'

My local Professor of Art has described my masterpiece as 'An insight into the technological age in conflict with ancient times'

My GP has suggested I wear a straight jacket.

Don’t think I would want to be there when the carrots start to go off

Tom this is unfair, the poor students are locked in their halls and have ordered a tesco delivery. They put in the wrong number on their carrots order and have now spent a fortune on carrots they can't use.

So being resourceful they have repurposed them as a piece of coursework

Nah that can't be right they'd be trying to turn it into alcohol.
