Our flight is December 9th and we certainly will not be relieved if it’s cancelled 😔

we are still on schedule for the 17th December and it's heartbreaking making ADRs on the 0.01% chance that we travel (should LHR get their rapid testing sorted) only to know I am going to have to cancel them all.

anyone shed some light on this for me,
Im booked 14th november, the actual booking in with American Airline but the flight is with BA I believe. It was linked up to the BA app and showing as normal last week.
I read about all November flights being canceled so went to the app and as expected the booking isn't showing anymore.

I contacted the agent I booked with who told me that it is still showing on the American Airlines system as going ahead so there is nothing they can do.
Surely it should have been canceled? Or has AA decided to take the route themselves and go ahead with the flight? Any advice appreciated.

Could you give some more detail - what route are you travelling on and what are your flight number(s)?

yes of course,
its Gatwick to Orlando on 14/11
the flight number i have is BA7012 outbound and BA7011 return
as i said ive booked with an agent who's booked through AA but obviously that is a British Airways operated flight that i assumed had been cancelled.

It would have been the BA2037 (AA7012 codeshare)/return BA2036 (AA7011 codeshare) and it has been cancelled. AA will not operate that flight so I suggest you get back on to your travel agent.

managed to get them to accept that the flight wasn't going ahead armed with all the information you provided so thanks for that. They have issued a refund that should be with me in 6-8 weeks.
