Staying off site and buying magic bands
Evening everyone,
While everyone I know is starting to party for new year, all I can think of is planning our holiday in August. We are staying in a villa off site. However I've decided I would like to get magic bands for the experience. In your option where does the best range of bands? I've been told Magic Kingdom power and light is good. But would love to hear where else. Happy new years to you. |

Any of the D-Tech on Demand sites are great for a huge variety of customised options. They are at the Power and Light in MK (if that’s the shop at the exit to Space Mountain), but they also have a shop in the Marketplace at Disney Springs. World of Disney will have a really good selection of the standard ones. TBH most of the main shops in any of the parks will. It depends on what you’re looking for.
To get an idea what’s out there have a look at the site magicbandcollectors. He has created a blog with s record of every band made, including the D-Tech options. Hope this helps. I love my magicbands and have a small collection. We first used them as off-site guests, and I liked how easy it was as opposed to pulling out cards all the time.

We normally head to DS to pick ours on on arrival day. Previously we got them from the pin collectors shop there, but that was before the World of Disney had its massive makeover.

There’s a limited selection at Mco if you wanted them for your first day at Disney. We got incredibles and little mermaid ones there.
Alternatively you can use a Disney shopper type person to buy them for you and send them to you to link up etc before you go. Might even get some kind soul on this board to get you some when they go... |
