Havent seen any news on dates when they intend to return to T3 or Gatwick.

The suspicion is that they'll protect their LHR slots at all costs and if passengers numbers don't support using both, that may be at the cost of their LGW slots.

Don't believe that any UK carriers are using Gatwick at present with BA suspending their LGW flights, Virgin pulling out completely and EasyJet grounding their entire fleet.
Think we're posting on similar threads

We're waiting to hear from BA as to where we are flying from in November so that we can book hotel and car parking.

It will soon be only Norwegian that fly direct LGW to MCO

We booked our September flights to Miami and our Christmas flights to Atlanta at the start of March; we stay on the Gulf Coast in Indian Shores; latest we've ever left booking flights.

Tampa or Orlando prices were crazy hence us looking at alternatives, both of which we got at fantastic prices.

We always have a mini-stay in Naples in our September trips so will do that at both the start & end of our trip this time (if it happens!).
We've done the Atlanta drive before (due to a hurricane); its not bad and gives us a chance of seeing somewhere different for a day or two (if it happens!).

Both, of course, already go from LHR so that's a bonus (nearer to home & more certainty about departure airport); hoping they happen as we've had both our Easter California trip plus our May/June Florida trips cancelled.

BTW, car parking at both LGW & LHR are fully cancellable up to 24 hours before arrival; done it for both of our cancelled trips and refunds within 3 days.

I think I've said on another BA thread (at 74 I can't remember what I had for breakfast ) but we've flown LGW to MCO or SFB around 30 times and from MAN to MCO about 6. The only time from LHR was once to MIA to catch a cruise.

Therefore LGW is so familiar to us in terms of terminal hotels and parking that, selfishly I suppose. I'd be very happy to stay with LGW. Even though it's a horrid further drive round the M25

We'll just hang on I think for a definitive BA statement on LHR and sort it out then. Retired so plenty of time on my hands
