We are booked for honeymoon in October and haven’t even bothered booking ADRs as I am just so sure we won’t be going. Usually some excited and organised with it too. I am in shielding category so just can’t see it being safe. We will look to reschedule if the dining plan is offered and if not will consider options.

US is behind us in the outbreak and will take much much longer to get under control as such a bigger population. Travel will be restricted for some time and you can’t also rule out another outbreak and peak of this in winter (there still won’t be a vaccine).

I mean I really really hope I’m wrong and we all get our well deserved holidays but I am trying to be realistic.

Getting Excited

I have a solo trip booked for after Thanksgiving - already re-scheduled from June. My ADR day is now June 2nd and I will be booking, but...

I really want to hope that I get to go, however what will the restrictions be? Will the borders be open again from Europe (I live in France), will Disney be, well, Disney? Should I be taking the risk, considering I have a DH and DS11?

So many things are up in the air at the moment that its hard to get excited - especially with so many people ill and people losing loved ones.
I want to get excited, but it just seems wrong.

We're going end of September, ADRs are all done and I've even made some changes/booked extras!

We might not be going, but it's my only holiday this year and I've been planning it for a year now so I'm going to carry on like it is! I'd rather not go and have "wasted" some time planning than go and realise I've not planned anything!

I will say check back on your ADRs...late last week I was making some adjustments and couldn't get ANY. Then I checked a few days ago and saw a few ones that are hard to get. We're staying 24th Sept - 1st Oct.

We are booked for 23rd May, so phoned to move the holiday to same weeks next year. We were told we would have to pay a small amount extra and that our DDP wouldn't be valid.
Safe to say we're not overly impressed!

I'm due to fly out 13th September and have booked my ADRs. I'm going until I'm told I'm not.

We've got our adr day next week, for our trip in November, part of me just wants to cancel the whole trip, and plan to go in a couple of years.

The other side of me just wants to book them, just in case, and see what happens in next few weeks.
