Mickey Pretzels

Does anybody have a recipe for thos Mickey Ear soft pretzels that they sell from carts in the parks ? I am suffering from withdrawal symptoms.

Just to say - it’s really difficult to achieve the shiny brown colour on pretzels without using an alkaline solution before Baking, which this recipe doesn’t have. Professional baking lye is a bit tricky to get, But another option is mixing baking soda in very hot water, and dipping the pretzels in before baking. However, it has zero impact on its taste and I’m sure they will be brilliant without it - but if they don’t come out the super shiny brown don’t worry
