Previous free dining dates

We get married the 28th of October 2021 so were hoping free dining maybe available come the start of November. I can only keep my fingers crossed

I was also advised recently by a CM at WDTC that IF the free dining offer was available at my hotel for my new dates (I'm moving from July 2020 to 2021), I could re-book/transfer to the new offer.

I thought thereafter, perhaps they'd made a mistake and recently posted about this BUT today, another dibber who is travelling the week before me and is doing exactly the same i.e. moving to july 2021 was told she too could change to the new offer if applicable and the fee was mentioned £50 but she got the impression Disneymay waive this?

When I called WDTC they said they's charge a fee to amend to 2021 dates plus any difference in cost. They didn't mention a further fee to move to any free dining offer nor did they mention anything about the $300 giftcards I stand to lose too.

On the bright side, I have a read a few dibbers posts whereby they are being told to wait a few weeks before making chnages and others are hinting there MAY BE something in the offing.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think Claudette was saying no you can't just phone up and ask for it to be added on, the CM will cancel and rebook you with the new offer, that is why you pay and amendment fee unless the new booking is of a higher value than the first booking then the amendent fee is not charged but the booking will still be cancelled and rebooked.
