Sea World and Busch Gardens take your picture and check the photo when you re-visit. It's a much better system and reduces the wait times as there is always someone (normally me) having trouble with their finger print scanning

Obviously a ticket per person is better revenue, but I would expect they also wanted to stop the profiteering, ie buy 14 day tickets then sell on to other people. In the UK I stayed at a B&B who offered vastly reduce priced tickets to venues, I bought one for my family and turned out it was an annual pass they were making a profit on !

They do this at WDW too, you can opt-out of the finger scanner. However it requires a trip to guest services and I think they give you a photo I.d. to show.

Yes it was. Terms and conditions of sale were always explicit.

We first went to WDW in 1989 and bought a 5 day adult passport as soon as we landed at MCO, from the Disney store. These passports were manually stamped each day you entered a park. You could come and go during the day with your hand being stamped for re-entry. You could 'park hop' between the 3 parks too. The passport did state that it could only used by the same person for all the 5 days.

I dont get why on a family holiday people would want to separate from others to save money. Isnt the idea to go as a family?
Ticket prices need to be factored into the budget. It's a choice to have a large family and it's a choice to holiday in Florida

Disney introduced fingerprint checks to stop the ticket touts not to stop families sharing. If Disney allowed you to share a ticket without checking ID then the dodgy ticket sellers would crop up again.

Lizzie that's great for you. I'm glad you holiday like that. I suppose you don't know people's circumstances.
Good luck to you.
