We stayed at the Rosen Plaza at Christmas just past and they do a fantastic buffet on Christmas day which is open to non-residents. I would really recommend it as it caters for everyone and you can book a table online months before you go, at a time that suits you.

We went across to Millers Ale House later that evening and they were serving food so they're open as well (queues in Millers were over an hour long though for a table!)

Thank you both

We're hoping we can book somewhere, we're debating Discovery Cove during the day so just an evening meal to sort hopefully. My youngest is autistic and struggles waiting so there's no way we could wait an hour for a table, would much rather book if possible x

Which restaurant do they use for the buffet at Rosen Plaza Belfastgal? We are staying there over Christmas and would like to do this.
Thank you.

Not on I-Drive but we had a fantastic Christmas dinner at the Villa de Flora in the Gaylord Palms a few years ago. It's a quality buffet with a wide choice but a tad pricey

The setting in the atrium is really nice.

You certainly need to book but you can on line about 3 months out.

We were in Orlando last Christmas and made a reservation for Christmas Lunch at House of Blues at Disney Springs. It was a lovely meal and the atmosphere was great. We were staying at the Rosen Inn Pointe Orlando and found that most of the restaurants on I-drive opened from 1pm however there were long waits for Miller’s, TGI’s, Dominos and Senor Frogs. We ended up having Christmas dinner at Denny’s (turkey roast that was delicious!) with a 5 minute wait. I wrote a trip report ‘A very merry Orlando Christmas’ if you want to see pics and prices.
