Agree with everyone else, I’m not a huge Star Wars fan (although I really enjoyed the Mandelorian) but the theming at Galaxy’s edge is top notch. We were there on opening day and walking around was truly like stepping into another galaxy. Hubby rode the Millennium Falcon and was very impressed. You shouldn’t be disappointed.

ROTR - I felt like I was an extra acting in a film - it was superb and we have never experienced anything quite like this.

Smugglers Run - disappointing ... no tiered seating so if you are short or a child and get the wrong job (sitting at the back) - I couldn’t see the screen very well.

Theming and area - absolutely outstanding - loved it, loved it. Oga’s Cantina - amazing experience - really good fun. Food strange - drinks good.

Just wondering if anyone who suffers with with motion sickness has ridden Rise of the Resistance please? I can't manage many rides at all due to really bad sickness, and no meds help. It doesn't usually worry me because I'm happy to people watch whilst the family do the rides. I can't do any ride that goes round and round like Dumbo! I also can't do coasters or simulators. However I love the look of this ride! I tend to stick with Splash Mountain/Peter Pan/Great Movie Ride (I know that's changed now). What are your thoughts on whether I can manage it please? thanks

My son-in-law was absolutely green when he got off it. He had to sit down for a while.

When you're there it's also worth buying the Batuuan Spira Metal Coin which is a Gift Card which you can load with $100, then just spend it on anything Disney and you're left with a very cool collectable coin.

Check them out on eBay...

Well looks like I'm in the minority then, ROTR wasn't open so can't comment on that but as far as Smuggler's, I wouldn't lose sleep if I never got to do it again! Theming actually is pretty good but there's a lot "crammed" into a fairly small space, Droid Depot is pretty good but it's tiny, in fact I didn't think any of the "outlets" were big enough.
Unless you do HS first & go to GE straight away, by the time you get there you are about sick to your back teeth of SW! About the only place there isn't some form of SW merch is Pandora & I wouldn't be sure that it isn't there either! Disney are trying to milk it to the max, even as a fan from boyhood,I just reached saturation.

Never will I reach SW saturation! I could happily have a whole park of it.

Lisa I could live with a park of it, it's more that it's everywhere! It's not as if Disney hadn't milked it to death already Let's close all the rides & what would be a great idea is we'll put some screens up, play bits of SW, throw in some stormtroopers, a couple of fireworks & some music & no-one will be any the wiser !
I just felt that SR was Star tours with flashing buttons to press & it makes me laugh when they say that guests can swap positions The only position is the pilots & I can't envisage anyone swapping for the vastly inferior engineer/gunner seats!
