Where's your favorite. We're in Christchurch and there are some lovely locations nearby. I always like having a nose at wedding venues but as DD is only 3 I don't think I'll be planning any weddings soon! My sister is getting married in Scotland in August so we've also got weddings on the agenda at the moment.
Hope you find a fab place,

We went to a couple in Burley and Lyndhurst today
Looking at Christchurch Harbour on Saturday which I hope we can get in budget Captain's Club on Sunday but unless Dad can negotiate a bit of a discount (he knows the owners) it'll be a bit expensive I think, lovely though Also looking at Chine, Sandbanks, Haven, Harbour Heights, Cumberland...lots really, but they seem to be the ones that keep popping up Like Kings but too expensive, as is Highcliffe Castle and Compton Acres Plenty of choice around though, I agree! |

Terribly sorry to hear about your change of plans but really glad to know that you are happy to move on and start enjoying the planning there in the UK.
Knowing that you are having your Disneymoon would you consider packing your dress/suit and have a photo session done? Perhaps this would provide you a great combination of your UK celebration and then a documentation of a Disneymoon to give you some of those memories you originally were looking for? Of course if I can help you in any way to make any special plans for your time here please let me know. I know I couldn't be of much help to you before since you were a Disney bride but now perhaps I can be of better use to you. Just because your "I do" isn't here in Orlando it doesn't mean some of your little extras can't be a highlight to your holiday here. Happy planning... on both sides! |

Have a Florida blessing on your own or with a few close friends on Honeymoon.
That way every body has a dream come true.

Thanks everyone for your comments
We are really excited about our new wedding plans and are in the middle of finding venues which is really fun! Keeping me very busy as since we are marrying in August, it books up quite soon, even midweeks as they are cheaper so becoming more popular! Carrie, we are considering a photo shoot over in WDW, either one of the Photopass shoots or one with Randy Chapman, who we were going to use as our wedding photographer. We love the Boardwalk area as we could use the Yacht Club, beach and Boardwalk areas so a real mix of settings, and I could buy a pretty dress! I forget what the Photopass shoots cost now (with the cd as we'd be buying this anyway) but I know Randy charges $180 for 45 mins Do you have any other quirky ideas Carrie? We were going to have a blessing, but I think it'll all be too much too soon! We tend to go to WDW every couple of years so perhaps we can do it next time. We're not too worried, the honeymoon will still be fantastic! |

Your wedding wouldn't be the same without your family there so now you have the best of both worlds More time for you to enjoy yourselves now on your Disneymoon. Look forward to reading more of your plans as you start to book things, exciting few months ahead for you!
