Disney checking in

Moving to Pop tomorrow for MNSSHP is it advisable to check in on the app or do you wait until you go to the hotel?

I have already checked in on the app (and MDE) for our 1 night stay in November. We will still get to the hotel early to drop our bag at bell services and collect our magic bands.

even though you can check in online on the app, you'll still need to visit front desk to collect your magic bands

so just drop by pop, get MBs, park the car up there (you'll be charged for the night) and use disney transportation to get to MK, don't take the car there if you turn up at 4pm to enter the park
it will be faster to and from, on the disney buses. Taking the monorail or boat to TTC at the end of the party will be a major pain

If you need to pick up magic bands there is no advantage nor disadvantage to checking in online. I did it this time, but I had forgotten to bring an old magic band so I stood in line just as I would have anyway.

Never again. We were packed solid on the bus there and on the way back it was like a cattle market. The boat was waiting while we passed for the bus. I can see why people take their car.
