Tipping for wedding

Can someone please help me with my tipping budget

Thinking:

Cars (3hr limo hire)
Illuminations cruise
Hair and makeup
Photography (Randy Chapman)

Planner? Is this more appropriate to be a gift or $$$ (Not DFTW)

I think that's all I need to think of

Thanks

If I remember rightly, I gave Randy $40 and Ana $30-$35. Ana was only working on me.

Can't help with the others. Although we have done an Illuminations cruise before and tipped 25% of the cruise cost but this was between a few families.

Oh and I didn't have a planner as such. But the events coordinator at Vero was so helpful to me with my emails regarding the wedding, I tipped her $40 too.

Think you might get a bit of a mix of responses! For Randy, I will only be tipping his assistant if he brings one, reason being he owns the business so the money goes to him, plus I've paid for vendor meals for them. For the cruise I would tip about $40-$50. Hair and Make-up for me I'll be tipping about $20 I think as my mum and MIL will be having their hair done and they will tip too. Cant help with the planner I'm afraid as I know DFTW wont allow planners to accept tips so I will probably buy a gift - seems a bit more personal as a thank you IYKWIM, like you've put some thought into it The limo is a hard one, not sure about that!

I'll be very similar to Hayley. Its Randy's business so no tip unless he brings an assistant. Hair and make-up about $20. Limo is a hard one if we can use it as I want - pick us up at I-Drive hotel, take to court house then on to check in at Yacht Club, probably $20-$30 depending on how pleasant he is (cos I have read that some of them are right miserable and get lost going round Disney!)

Are you having your dress steamed when you get there? Cos that's another one to possibly tip - unless again its their own business.

On another note - I have been calculating how much we will need to tip on meals being on the deluxe plan

I calculated dxddp tips too Marie and I was frightened!

No, no dress steaming for me! Classic hang in shower room will do me just fine. We'll be there almost a week before the big day so that'll be fine! It's hanging in my mum's room

I'm going to listen to other people's experiences/plans, interesting to know, seems to be a fairly big range

I was so busy on out day that I'm not even sure we tipped! I hope my dad took care of it!
I sent my wedding planner a present after the event.

I didn't tip Randy or my officiant as both ran their own business, I did send them both thank you cards. I sent a thank you card to my wedding planner (sent to the director of dftw so they would know she did a great job).

My dad did tip the violinist and limo driver - got no idea how much though!

Beaute Speciale - Tipped 20% of the cost of my hair/make up.

Officiant - No tip as he was non denominational and we paid a fee.

Violinist/ florist/assistants at ceremony - No tip as Disney does not allow them to accept money.

Limo - $10

Planner - Gift

Randy - No tip due it being his own business and he didn't have an assistant.

I think that was everyone. The biggest tip was hair/makeup and our waiter at V&A's.

Hi Natalie, I was thinking this the other day, and I emailed Carrie, although she hadn't got back to me yet.

As for tips on the dxddp if you check out my trip report from last year I put the tip in for what we ate, so you will see roughly what it may be xx
