Exclusive Lodges - Centre Parcs
Hi everyone, well after coming back from Centre Parcs last week, I'm ready to use my come back soon offer I normally stay in an Executive lodge, but I would like to try an Exclusive lodge next year. Has anyone stayed in one and if so, what are your thoughts, thanks

Yes, we have stayed in one on our last few trips and will be again in July. What is it in particular that you'd like to know?

Hi, thanks for your reply It mentions in the blurb you get dedicated parking, is this parking outside your lodge or just nearer than trudging to the general car park? The steam room, is this easy to operate and feel like a spa experience, or just a bit of steam in a room, if that makes sense? And there appears to be a normal exclusive and a special lay out - in Elvedon, which do you go for? Probably strange questions lol, but I'm just wondering. I do like the look of the Waterside lodges too, they don't have Saunas, so I've ruled them out Thanks

I’ve stayed in One in Woburn and been past plenty in elveden. The thing that would put me off a little is they are some of the furthest out accommodation on site. I
If you want it to feel a bit secluded, I would definitely avoid the ledges that border the path to the outdoor activity centre, as anyone walking to the outdoor activities can see straight into the garden area with the hot tub. |

Hi, it depends on which site you are at with regards to parking. At Whinfell for example you park right at the lodge, but at Woburn there is dedicated parking in a car park but only a stone’s throw from the lodges. We have always found them to be really secluded and not overlooked at all, but when you book you do get to choose which lodge you want so maybe I have just chosen well! There are fences that surround the hot tub/garden area so have never experienced people being able to see in. As for the sauna, we have never used it so can’t comment, sorry, but it looked easy enough to operate.

Hi
I stayed in one a Christmas at Elvedon. The parking was nearby but not outside your lodge, they put a note on the car if you don't move it. The Steam room was used by my eldest and as far as I remember it was easier to use, it was very steamy. We wasn't overlooked. I do think they were starting to look a bit tired and could do with a makeover. Hope that helps. |
