Overnight parking in york

Weare off to York on Sunday for 3 nights

we are driving and our hotel offers valet parking at Ł35 per night

can anyone recommend overnight parking that isn't so expensive ? We are staying at The Grand on Station Approach.

Its only about Ł17 a day in the station carpark 1 minute walk away, there are long stay options on leeman road as well

there is the York Communter parking at the rear of the station -the discount one (at the top) is Ł6 a day over a weekend i think and bit more during the week. It's with APCOA so you can use that app if you have it.

I booked a space through Your Parking Space

We were staying at the Travelodge and the parking was only a few minutes walk away. It was pre pandemic but I'm sure I paid Ł6/24hrs

Enjoy, it’s a fabulous hotel. We stayed there in February, there is a national ar Park less than 5 mins away which is where we parked, but the station idea looks good

I’d use the station long stay - I often leave my car in there when I’m in London for work.
