Finally returned

It’s been such a long time but we have finally returned. So far it’s been great!
We flew into Miami and spent a night at the double trees, friendly staff, clean hotel but definitely needing an upgrade!

Collected the car from Alamo, straight to the garage to pick our car! Only one available in the line but DH was happy with it so no problem. It’s a Jeep.
100% fail at trying to avoid tolls! Ended up driving the whole way on the Turnpike 🤣
We had opted for a split stay between Polynesian and Animal kingdom lodge but our first day wasn’t available at Polynesian so tried Riviera for our first night, it beautiful and being so close to the skyline was great! We had a view of Epcot fireworks and MK fireworks. Fantastic isn’t back but I wondered if they were doing some testing because we also noticed some fireworks from the Hollywood studio area!

4 nights at Polynesian, it’s my birthday during this stay so I phoned and asked for an upper floor, big fail😊 ground floor🤣 it was still beautiful and we could see the castle and space mountain between the bungalows. The view of the fireworks was great!

We now have 8 night in a standard view 1 bedroom at Jambo. So far blown away by the standard view. It’s better than the savannah view that we had at Kidani!

It is a great view! I had a look at this site when we got allocated our room number and it does seem to be a standard room view but how great!
