We had an awful view on the 2nd floor overlooking the basketball hoop. Had to stand up to see anything as wall was so high. A dark gloomy room. Was happy to move to SSR!

Funnily enough I’ve stayed at Boardwalk a few times and bizarrely it’s the only place I’ve had my room request granted spot on every time. Probably because we like to be at the end of the wings (standard view opposite tennis court, pool view right at the end, top floor, looking over the main pool). At the end of the wings you have a stairwell for direct access to the HWS path.

I always ask for the end of the corridor near the tennis courts, I have always been placed in the first or second villa from the lobby!
This time I did get 4th floor which is the highest I have ever been but have yet to be placed anywhere further than that second bend in the corridor!

I have given up on room requests now. At riveria I asked for a high floor and got floor 2, the lowest, and had the lovely AC chillers view with a flat roof in front of the balcony with a bottle of Sprite on the roof

We got the exact room we asked for at Xmas, top floor, room at very end on the pool view. Was delighted.

We don’t get it anywhere else at all! Just did one for a renter of mine, top floor VGF, that was it. They got 2nd floor.

I think we had that room one year. Apparently the wall is high because it is a “sound barrier”. I was so disappointed that we requested and got a room move.
