Tolls and Interstate Driving (Arizona - Texas)
We will be picking up our car in Arizona, which doesn’t have toll roads, and driving to Texas, which does and they are cashless as far as I can tell.
Has anyone done this and do you know whether the car will be equipped with a transponder that will work in Texas? Or do we need to get something like the Florida VTP? Would it be best to pop in to a branch of the rental company in Texas and ask them to either fit a transponder or swap the car? We will be driving in other states as well and returning to Arizona. Thanks. |
