Explain amazon fresh please

Hi everyone,

We have amazon prime account here in the uk, we want to order groceries to our hotel in florida, what do we do ?

Do we have to set up a amazon us account and will it recognise our uk prime subscription. Also when ordering is there a tool like here were you can see were the delivery driver is so we can meet the delivery outside.
Anyone used this and can explain please, would be much appreciated.

Unfortunately I believe that Amazon Prime is country specific and does not transfer across different countries. (I have Amazon accounts in 4 countries, Prime on one of them, and my Prime subscription for that one country's Amazon site is not valid when I buy from any of the other 3 countries' Amazon sites.)

Not familiar with how Amazon Fresh works in the USA so can't help with that. My local Amazon Fresh (not USA) sends me text and email updates when my groceries are dispatched and when they are arriving soon, but I can't see the exact location of where the delivery driver is. Amazon Fresh USA may work differently though!

As above, Prime isn't transferable between different countries.

If you want to use Amazon Fresh you do need a US Amazon Prime membership. However, you should be able to sign up for a 30-day free trial - so do it just before your trip - and then cancel it again before you have to make a first payment.

There are other options such as Instacart and Garden Grocer etc that don't require membership.
