Alamo issues
Picked up a Ford Explorer (standard suv) at airport, great car and I think was a bit lucky to get it. We had issues with the key and to cut a long story short they told me to exchange the car at disney car care.
We then received a GMC Terrain, massive difference in quality, comfort and also issues with air con. I’ve been to disney this morning to try and change again but told they have nothing available and should contact alamo at the airport. Any advice appreciated? |

Swop it over at MCO as suggested? Disney Car Care Centre don't hold the number of vehicles that MCO does, which is probably the reason they suggested that option.

As above. Swapping at MCO is your safest bet in terms of getting a suitable replacement.
I’d, politely, let them know you’ve been messed around a bit with this hire. They should probably throw you an upgrade or at least a tank of fuel imo. |

Thanks
I didn’t fancy the drive over from Kissimmee but if that’s the best option will do that 👍🏻 |

I have just checked my CC and have noticed Alamo has charged me twice for my rental despite getting a receipt when I dropped off the car stating amount due $0.00 ? Just a heads up in case it happens to fellow dibbs
I made the payment at the time of booking the car back in May 2022 but definitely have two separate charges and charge again on the 18th June Edited at 11:28 AM. |
