NE Geordie's - Shaun the Sheep Trail is coming

Get your diaries out and mark 19th July to 27th September 2023 as hopefully you will be busy doing Shaun the Sheep trail around Newcastle, Gateshead and beyond.

St Oswalds' Hospice have today announced that after the amazing success of the Snowdog and Elmer Trails that next years trail will be Shaun the Sheep.

I've done both the NE trails and also a Gromit one and Shaun in the City both in London and Bristol with various young family members and it is great fun and you meet some lovely people on the way. (Some kids don't grow up )

I would love to be able to afford to bid for a full size sculpture in the charity auction held after the trail finishes but they are out of my budget but I might get a minature one.

Off to find out if a friend of mine is going to put themselves forward to design and paint one as they have already done one for each of the past trails.

DD loves doing these trails, we had a gorilla one from local zoo and Elmer one and iwe done one in Norwich with the Hares and the dinosaurs, but unfortunately will be too far for us to get to! we will need photos! x
