Others vendors usually add a few dollars to the price for 1 day tickets (True UK sellers might be cheaper depending on exchange rate for any that do 1 day tickets), but then you need to link the ticket to be able to use it. That is slightly more complicated than a vpn , again thats IMHO.

In the end they all work and it comes down to personal preference and, as you say, no way is right or wrong.
My preference is to deal directly for tickets and flights as 3rd parties add a layer, if you need to change anything later.
As you say, swings and roundabouts. I wouldn’t say adding a ticket to MDE is more complicated than a VPN, lots of people on here don’t even know what a VPN is, most have used MDE before, and it’s about a couple of buttons to press in the MDE app.

Different vendors have different refund policies, I believe disneys stance is normally non refundable, whereas some other vendors may include some protection for cancellation or have a refund policy in place.

I get mine from disneyworld. Switch to Europe at the top instead of UK and Ireland.
