I renewed my parents online on the 17th June. Posted the old ones on the Saturday 18th to different offices.
Both new passports arrived this morning via TNT. |

On line renewal for DW passport took 3 weeks.

We’re the same as Looby- waiting now over 11 weeks for 1st passport for dgs and due to leave 10july- this is the most stressful holiday ever! Everything paid in full for party of 7 - don’t know what we’ll do if it doesn’t arrive soon!

I did my sons online , its been 4 weeks so far. It was sent to
Belfast with his other passport plus it’s a replacement for a lost out of date child passport, so I imagine it will take a wee bit longer. My dad did his at the post office on the first of June and received his old passport and his new one both on the 18th, his was sent to Durham |

My daughter in law has just changed hers to her married name. She went through the Post Office check came back in 2 weeks.

Son In Law's passport renewal is on the same time frame as well. Again done online.

My friend did hers and it took just two weeks however her sons has now been over a month.
Generally speaking it seems the child passports are taking longer.
