Hertz and Avis - Miami

Hi All,

Has any one had any recent experience hiring cars from eithe Hertz or Avia from Miami? I've heard of lots of sales patter and pushy agents in MCO, wondered if any one had experienced the same. Do Avis have the same thing in place where you can go straight to the garage?

I believe they do (Avis preferred), but regardless you�d still need to visit the desk for your first hire I believe.

Got back on 1st June in and out of Miami and hired car through Avis, signed up with Avis preferred and went straight to garage, car(mustang) was waiting for us but asked if we could get SUV instead, not a problem swooping although double checked invoice and it showed up that balance was what we pre paid for car, pointed it out and they apologised and changed it straight away,

Thanks this is good to know, we've done avis preferred a few times, so I'm hoping for similar.
We've got one car with Avis and the other through Hertz (booked with Andy

) will keep an eye out for what is on the invoice.
