Lovely to watch this!

We did a Back-to-Back from Tilbury; myself, my daughter and my 80 year old (young at heart) mum. We had a fabulous time, but was over too quickly.

Our PAT was 2.15 and more crowded than we’d imagined. Staff were doing their best though and after a nail biting wait for test results we stepped on board the Magic at 15.30.

Sorry to hear your check in was stressful, but good to hear you had some assistance getting through the queue and alleviating some of the stress and anxiety for Ethan.

Thank you. Wish we could have done a B2B

Waiting for the test was the worst bit and the internet was really bad. My husband had to find a spot and keep checking the emails.

I'm so glad they offered the assistance. I really wasn't expecting any but she was like an angel. Ethan would have been so much worse if he had to wait in the first long queue as he has no understanding of waiting.

The Back-to-Back was a smoother process than I’d imagined.
After breakfast (change over day) we had a brief meeting in the D Lounge, issued with new KTTWC’s, then free to enjoy the ship which felt incredible with minimal guests on board, lovely and quiet.

We kept the same stateroom, stateroom host, and Dining room server’s too, I have no words to describe how wonderful they were. DD has a dairy intolerance and she didn’t have to compromise on food choices; all organised in advance and tweaked to her needs.

My DD asked our servers to ‘surprise her’ with dessert for Artist pallet and was presented with specially created chocolate masterpiece.

It was nice that you got to see the Magic during embarkation through the glass walkways at Southampton. Whilst surroundings weren’t so ‘luxurious’ at Tilbury we really couldn’t fault the staff or the process at all. Still felt special !
