I am just kicking myself I didn’t buy and freeze more M&S bread sauce, it was delicious and now they don’t have anymore

Also the party food- duck spring rolls, breaded prawns etc. Also now all gone and I didn’t think to freeze.

I buy four every year and freeze them as they are my very favourite! ❤️

I bought and didn't get one slice of the Colin Christmas thing. Apparently it was very nice!
Also bought M and S Christmas cake which is one of the nicest I've had.

Nice if you can - I had Christmas day off.

We loved the M and S turkey breast roast... not the crown, just boneless breast in a tray that we seasoned and roasted. Their ordinary pigs in blankets off the shelf were great too, not too salty. I also did Linda McCartney roast (really nice both on the day and in a pie the day after) and made homemade veggie pigs in blankets for veggie dd

We had M and S ready prepped mashed carrot and swede, and stringless sliced green beans too, alongside tescos own roasting veg in a tray which was nice, and roast spuds done by me and a jar of cranberry sauce.

I bought some Salt & Chilli Pork Belly Bites party food from Aldi when I popped in on my way home. The picture looked gorgeous on the box. They actually looked (and tasted) like Chum when I opened the box.

I know others mentioned enjoying the turkey and ham pie from M&S, but we’ve had that today and didn’t find it that impressive.

I had read (I think it was on here somewhere!) that people loved the Tesco fresh cream chocolate Yule log, so I ordered one of those but found that quite dry and tasteless so wouldn’t bother again.

As always loved my M&S garnish pack and their fresh bread sauce - they make Christmas dinner for me! 😊
The Tescos Yule Log was a massive let down this year, last year it was fantastic so no idea what happened with it.

Drunken Duck Pate was fantastic again this year. I always order the trio of Pate from Tesco and it did not disappoint.

The Colin trifle from M&S was just okay, I wouldn’t get it again as it was really expensive for what it was! However, their strawberry trifle was delicious, I’d definitely get that again.

Sainsburys mini beef Wellingtons were lovely, their melt in the middle chocolate pud was vile and didn’t taste like chocolate. I love cranberry and brie sandwiches from anywhere but they don’t taste the same made at home. Loved the Ben and Jerry mint ice cream.
