Hard Rock hotel always for us...

Love the place!

We have 5 nights booked this May... a little concerned about the work being done, but booked all of this before it was announced and can't get like for like room in the others at a reasonable price!

Cheapest. All 3 have great positive points.

I’d be staying away from hard rock till the construction is done, as much as it didn’t really impact on our stay it did annoy me a little.

who is in your party?

Portofino - biggest rooms and so gorgeous to look at. Best pizza place, Sals not pricey.

Hard rock - location - shallow pool, cool vibe.

RPR, always request tower 3, deep large pool with pool volleyball.

My 14 year said he’d choose Portofino. Massive room, great pool, pool slide, pizza, Starbucks, poolside games. That’s without him taking into consideration prices right enough 😂

I have stayed in Hard Rock and it is very nice. It’s currently having an outside refurb and I hear they are doing the rooms soon. If true that will make it even better.
Have Portofino Club booked for Xmas. I picked that this time as I hear it has the best Club lounge (food).
We have also stayed in Aventura which we rate pretty high for the price but you don’t get the passes.

Have stayed in RPR probably ten times ( often for two weeks) and absolutely love it.

It is so relaxing, and the ten minute walk to the parks is beautiful.
We always stay in tower 1 floor 3 ( lobby level) so we don’t have to wait for lifts when you come through the front door.

Jakes restaurant is one of the best on property. IMO, and the lush surroundings just add to the serenity.

No water slide but a big water feature with water cannons (!) etc.
Volleyball net at the pool, and table tennis/ fussball etc.

Haven’t stayed in HRH or PFB but visited both.
PFB felt too far away for us as we never use the boats and like to walk there and back at least twice a day.

HRH just felt too noisy for us, maybe because we are old!

I'd suggest NOT the RPR, although you could probably make do for a single night.

The last time we were there, which was for a 5-night stay, we found the room felt a lot smaller than the Hard Rock where we'd stayed on our previous trip.

We always try to ensure our kids can have their own bed, and with a rollaway in our RPR room, it really felt cramped.

The food at the RPR, however, suited us perfectly. We all love sushi and the Orchid Lounge was a great area for sushi, drinks and a generall chill after a hot day in the parks.

Just for comparison - standard room sizes:
RPR - room size 335 sq ft
Hard Rock - room size 375 sq ft
Porotfino - room size 450 sq ft

We’re only 3 and as such don’t need a bigger room so RPR works fine for us.
