Last month we recently did 1 night at Hard Rock in the first week & then decided as the Express Pass was worth it, we decided to book 1 night at RPR in the second week.

Both very good hotels with not much at all between them.

The only thing that was slightly annoying with RPR was the security check getting into the parks for early admission. It seemed that you had to join a long line with other hotel guests staying at other
standard universal hotels. This was with us walking though rather than taking the boat into City Walk.

Hard Rock didn't seem to have the same problem as the guests who were walking were from Hard Rock only, i guess as PFB is further away not many guests will walk it, so a much shorter queue for security.

For just one night, I'd pick the one that was charging the least.

Don't forget, if you shop at Tesco you can book with clubcard points via hotels.com

Yea you would of had potentially Cabana Bay, Aventura, Sapphire Falls as well as RPR at the garden walk security check.
Hard Rock is just slightly closer too.

That’s a really good point. We were at PBH and always used the boat, so security was done before we got on the boat.

Haven't stayed at HRH but out of the other two i far preferred Royal Pacific... far more atmosphere and loved the pool. We are returning for 2 nights in August. I thought it was gorgeous.

We've only ever stayed at the royal Pacific and we loved it. It was very beautiful and clean. We took a boat ride into the parks but then walked back, so it can't have been too far away! It was a very pretty hotel and setting with flower leis given on arrival. I would have no issue recommending

Only ever stayed at Royal Pacific which is great, so good we’ve been back twice!
That said, for one night I would be driven by price.

We have stayed at Portofino Bay previously and loved it. This time we are in Royal Pacific and that is lovely too. The Express pass is proving useful although not today, everything breaking down. Also early entry is not the perk it used to be, crowds were crazy by 7.15
