We realised we used my husbands card in Jan and are OK. I just used mine to pay a bit off a cruise booked with a US TA. Fingers crossed mine works if not we will just use his in case it doesn’t come in time.

New card arrived today, was also able to change the pin online so all good!

We have a joint acct and I set up online banking when it was Suntrust but DH didn’t. Well after an hour on the phone now you can’t so he has to go the bank when we are there with his photo ID. this meant he had to ring to ask for his new card. I did raise it as a formal complaint about their comms, especially about not telling us the cards would de-activate when not in use, but the account is so obviously active.

I was told the same thing, even though like you we were both there when we set it up & DW has always had her own card! Only difference was I was told that she could do it online but had to log-on etc not quite sure how that was supposed to work Just not sure what all the hassle is, same account 2 cards, so why is it a problem to replace both ?

I've checked mine today and my address hasn't even come over properly from Suntrust and I can't update it online - I need to call

At least I can hopefully request my new card at the same time lol

It’s all a bit strange and frustrating. The strangest thing is that my husband used the old card in January and now it doesn’t worK 🧐

I am still waiting for my new card to arrive. I had to phone to change address amd request a card about 6 weeks ago. Fingers crossed it turns up soon. My husband needs a new card too, but after we got the phone bill for my 90 minute call he's going to wait until we are there!

It was all going so well! They've sent the wrong card! ATM card instead of Debit Card, now having to start the whole process again !
