Last day plan

Our last Disney day is Friday August19
i had planned to go to Magic Kingdom, traditional last day, and then Cali Grill for dinner and fireworks.
However it a special Halloween night and the park closes early
1. Will the park be busier or quieter on that day?
2. Will the fireworks still happen or should i change Cali Grill ?
Any tips for making last evening special much appreciated

Sometimes MK ends up less busy on party nights as people used to feel they weren’t getting a full park day but with recent crowd level changes it’s impossible to predict.

You will get a fireworks but they will be the Halloween ones which might suit if you’ve seen the regular ones earlier in the holiday.

I'm not sure that is correct, when looking at the calendar the only MNSSHP shows as the nighttime entertainment, that is also from 7pm. If you are not doing MNSSHP that evening I don't believe you will see any fireworks. If you are going to the event then there is a halloween show with fireworks.

The MK fireworks are visible from the California Grill, which is what the OP was asking. On MNSSHP nights, Halloween fireworks will be seen from Cali Grill in place of the usual fireworks.

The park however on MNSSHP nights will close to those without party tickets at 4pm usually.
