Costco in Florida

I just checked the Ts & Cs and it says I can use my Costco membership in any store worldwide - has anyone been to Costco in Florida to stock up on supplies? I'm guessing they look exactly the same inside as the UK ones.

The closest Costco to the Disney area is at Mall of Millenia and I have had no trouble using my card there.

Yes you certainly can, we've done it several times. I love visiting Costco stores in the States!

The only difference to be aware of is that if you want to use their fuel stations, your UK membership card won't work in their machines as they don't have the black strip. To get around it, just purchase a Costco prepaid cashcard, load it with money and use that to buy fuel.

My UK card doesn't work at the Optical Dept or Pharmacy without the cashier adding an international code first. It also doesn't work online. At the normal tills it works fine even at the self checkout ones.

For fuel if you ask the person on duty they will scan their own card for you!
The biggest difference with the stores... they are HUGE compared with UK ones - Enjoy
