Thank you…. We are going to do Disney Cruise in 2024 from FL.

These are European cruises.

Splash pad on Dream doesn’t look great compared with the one on Symphony of the Seas.

Just checked all the free dining outside of the main room and looks a lot of choice!

Plus we would likely go for a suite which would allow access to Coastal Kitchen! Maybe a bit less formal than the main dining area…

However, when we get to FL cannot wait to take the kids to Castaway Cay! Boys will be 7 and 3 by then.

Other developments include finding a cruise which fits with May half term which is nice…. And about 25% cheaper than the summer holiday one I was looking at.

Also our eldest won’t be vaccinated so almost rules out DCL right now?

We love both cruise lines with Disney being our favourite but RCL just behind. My son was teenage once we got into cruising and never used hardly any of the activities onboard with RCL, he just made friends and hung out with them 24/7!
For me Disney was better service, less frantic and loved the smaller size of the magic. RCL has more bells and whistles on the big ships, DH loves the flo rider ! DS is grown now but next year DH and I are doing a 4 nighter to Spain on the dream then the next week doing a week round the med on the symphony. The dream was £400 more expensive! That is balcony cabins on both but RCL we have prepaid the tips too so it’s a much better deal financially.

Can I ask why you don't price up Royal from Southampton doing the Fjords? Why is it Disney to one place or Royal to another?

I'm not sure when half term is (presume end May) but there are 7 night cruises on the Anthem to the Fjords on 14 & 21 May 2023.

Also Disney usually have a ship in Barcelona but not sure if they'll have one in May?
