Buying Universal Tickets

We have decided that we will go to Universal for two days during our trip next year. We will probably also get the Express Passes so we can be sure to do everything. My question is where is the best place to get the tickets. We were looking at the US Universal site where of course it’s all is US$. Is this the best bet and what happens after? Do you need the Universal App for example to store the tickets?

Any help/advice appreciated.

Consider staying 1 night at one of the deluxe hotels as you will get the express pass included in the price of the room (check in and check out day). This would be Royal Pacific Resort, Hard Rock or Portofino Bay. If you have Tesco points you can convert them to Hotels.com.

We bought our 2 day, 2 Park tickets in the UK before we went from Orlandoattractions.com, they sent us an eticket which we used to get in the parks. This was in May this year. You can try undercover tourist or sometimes buying direct can be cheaper.
I would consider a night in one of the premium hotels for free express passes. We didn't do this as had 5 days between the 2 days we visited.
We bought one day express passes with mixed results, two of our party used them for everything while the other two just queued for anything less than 30 minute wait, we still got on all the rides we wanted with minimal wait times.
I didn't link them to the app, just used it to check listed times.

Try undercover tourist as they do deals at times.

Definitely look at the premiere hotels for express passes as could be much cheaper plus you can get early entry

or check the official universal site. you do collect at kiosk or desk. If staying at a universal hotel they all have kiosks and desks.
As mentioned also look at the 3 premium universal hotels that include unlimited fast passes. These are valid for check-in day and checkout day, so 1 night gives 2 days of fast pass and early entry on both days. so compare prices, to see if that is cheaper.
