I’m I right or confused again?

As per the title. I’m trying to work out if I can take the whole family in late 2024 (provided the borrowing rule has changed!)

My use year is August so if I go in September/ October 2024 can I use 2023 points (banked) 2024 points and 2025 (borrowed)?

The other thing is if I bank my August 2022 points I can use them in September 2023? I think having a late use year and the gap where I wasn’t able to use has properly confused me, I was usually borrowed to the max so didn’t have to worry about banking points too often!

I suppose that did ultimately benefit me when Covid hit!

Your August 2022 points can be moved to 2023 use year. They can be used August 1, 2023-July 2024. They need to be banked by March 31,2023.

Secondly, if you bank your August 2023 and borrow your 2025 points (assuming borrowing limits are lifted). You’ll have 600 points to be used August 1, 2024-July 31, 2025.
Make sure you bank your points by the banking deadline. Also these transactions are final. The points can’t be moved back to the original use year.

Excellent, thank you so much😊. I’ve just booked a short cruise from port Canaveral and said to DH it would be good to stay a few days longer and relax around the resorts, like 105 points worth🤣. DH was looking at Europe but I was straight on looking at Caribbean 🤣 2 birds and 1 stone and all that!
So a few days at Disney mid September 2023 and then a big family holiday 2024 ( if borrowing allows!) we were planning this in 2018 and had accommodation booked when DD told us she was pregnant with baby no 3. Now has 4 so the time is right🤣

When confused I write it down, helps me see it clearly. Ignore the 105 because they won't form part of it:
23- Bank
24- Use
25 - Borrow

So the only thing you need to ensure is that the "Use" year will have started & all let's hope for the end of the Borrowing restrictions.
