In every day life I average 25,000 steps per day as I run an average of 9 miles every day and take the dog for 2 or 3 walks of a few miles each.

So, theme park holidays generally see me cover fewer steps. I'll still run every day, but I'll probably knock it down to 5-6 miles a day and I have no dog to walk!

Looking back at August 2019, our last long holiday in the parks (we've had a couple of non-park holidays in Orlando since then), and I averaged 17,300 steps per day on that holiday, with a peak of 27,600 steps on one day.

In contrast, at home on Saturday I covered 37,500 steps.

I'm averaging 22k a day on my current joliday.. And I typically aim for 20k a day when at home.

But... The big difference isn't the walking it's the standing and despite doing what id consider a "Normal" days walking my feet are swollen and sore from so much standing.

This year we averaged just over 20k a day. We took it really easy, I’ve got long Covid and just didn’t have the stamina to do parks all day! Lots of long lies and a few early nights. DH said it’s the first Disney holiday where I’ve not been up before him!

When we went in 2019 I did in the region of 300k steps over the course of 18 nights. Worked out as about 200km! Almost needed another holiday to recover...🤣

We rarely do full days in parks. Morning, afternoon, or evening. We hit 22k on one day, but most days were between 13-15k according to my phone. But I don't have my phone in my pocket, and I know my son's was always 3-4k more steps than me, as his phone is glued to him!

around 20k a day, my watch claimed we'd walked 126 miles in two weeks.
