Evenings after Discovery Cove

I was just wondering what, if anything, people did in their evenings after a day at Discovery Cove. Do you feel relaxed and ready for an evening out or do you just go and relax back at the hotel/villa? I'm just finalising our plans for August so was wondering whether or not to pencil in a park evening.

We are two adults and two teens.

You definitely could do a park if you wanted. There is very little walking or standing around during your visit at Discovery Cove - as you say, a lovely relaxing day. We usually head to a mall for a couple of hours or Disney Springs on our way back to the villa.

First trip to discovery cove, we have aquatica penciled in for afterwards as it is across the road, but we may be all watered out and just head back to the villa for a chilled evening.

We usually just got back to the villa as we’re all far too relaxed to do anything else! This year depending on how we feel we might go over to Sea World for a few hours seeing as it’s not far, but will decide on the day as we might UBER to D.C. instead of driving so DH can have a a few beers during the day.

The one time I went there I was shattered so I just stayed at the hotel, chilling by the pool.

Last time we went we just got a taxi back (never take the car to DC) and spent a few hours in pub just outside High Grove gates
As next visit will be on Christmas Day might walk over to Seaworld depending on time

I usually feel absolutely knackered after a day in sun and water
