Traffic issues

Hi all

Just wondering if it's only me getting grumpy with old age or is the traffic in the Orlando area - I know there are major roadworks on I4 around champions gate - getting worse. It took us 45 minutes to travel 7 miles on the I4 coming from Daytona beach as we got close to the I4 exit for champions gate. The 192 was really busy too for about a 2 mile stretch from Celebration up past the exits from Disney.

I'd be interested to hear other recent visitors thoughts.

It�s been like that on both of my post covid trips in November and March.

Part of the problem is there used to be 2 lanes off I4 to Championsgate from Disney now at moment only 1 so gets backed up on I4.

Yep traffic is definitely a big issue for me this time around, we've been here since 21st June and seemed to have spent more time in traffic than anything else, small journey's seem to take an age there are roadworks everywhere, then again the friendly Americans are terrible drivers IMHO

I was only getting acclimatised to how to drive like a typical Floridian when we were ready to come home - don�t wait for a space to change lanes - make a space�.
