Virgin 330-200 Aircraft

Sorry I've not been on for a while

Just wondering if any one can advise on the best/worst seats on the Virgin 330-200 aircraft ?


We are flying in economy (4 of us) - if not flying in the 747 in bubble, our preference was always for the back 2 rows as the body shape of the plane used to give little more side room, plus you are near the galley for drinks and first choice of food !

Can anyone comment if the back row seats in rows 49 & 50 of the 330-200 aircraft are similar ?

Or are there better seats ( although we want avoid people queuing for the loos !)

But you're better off loking at thevssource/ than seatguru, which is often out of date or wrong

We flew on this aircraft to New York and it was cramped. There was a metal box under each seat which I think was the in flight entertainment stuff, which ate away at the leg room and there were toilets at the back of the aircraft with very little space for queuing. We ended up picking row 35 (I think) as it was away from the toilet!

Are they flying this on Orlando Route now? We took one to the Caribbean. It was ok, but not the best plane I’ve been on. Usual virgin seats, so you should be fine. We took the front row of economy, but due to the layout of the plane I wouldn’t again. Kept being bashed by trolleys, as the aisle isn’t straight.
